Roger Pic has survived the dangers of the world’s major hot spots as an independent journalist, providing reports for such programmes as 5 Colonnes à la Une and Panorama. Between 1966 and 1975, Pic was also one of the few reporters to film inside North Vietnam and among the Vietcong.

In 1997, Pathé Archives acquired Roger Pic’s collection, which includes exceptional images of the Vietnam War from the perspective of North Vietnam and the Vietcong, as well as of Cambodia, China – featuring images from the Cultural Revolution – and Cuba (with exclusive images of Fidel Castro).
