Freelance journalist Laurence Lemaire brought back several hours of footage from Nepal (1997-1998) that give an insight into everyday life in the country as well as the religious practices of its people .
This collection also includes countless images of Thailand and Laos. Of particular merit are those that portray the region’s villages, the ethnic groups of the Golden Triangle, and such local practices as the preparation of opium and its consumption .
