Bequeathed to the LOUVRE by Mrs Walter, this collection in which impressionnists, the deer and the cubists are present only in their overshooting, made to burst the engineering of a time the contemporary Art of which cannot release itself. Dans le cadre rénové de l'ORANGERIE, viennent d'être présentés à PARIS cent quarante cinq chefs-d'oeuvre de la célèbre collection Paul GUILLAUME, qui, en vingt ans, su réunir les oeuvres les plus éblouissantes de la peinture moderne. Léguée au LOUVRE par Madame WALTER, cette collection dans laquelle les impressionnistes, les fauves et les cubistes ne sont présents que dans leur dépassement, fait éclater le génie d'une époque dont l'art contemporain ne peut se libérer.
